Welcome to The Karma Collective

As a certified social enterprise, we exist to support the wellbeing of vulnerable people, animals and the planet. We design, manufacture and sell, a range of high quality wellbeing gifts, programs and experiences that support the wellbeing of the recipient, and create inclusive, paid employment for people who may be facing challenges.

Our next phase of growth will see us open The Karma Collective Wellbeing Sanctuary in Toowoomba, Australia. The Sanctuary will be open to the public as a community wellbeing space, provide shelter for rescue animals, wellbeing workshops and operate as a wellbeing workplace.

  • Nic, Operations Manager

"The Karma Collective found its way into my life at a time when I was trying to find my feet. Family and personal health issues meant that finding regular meaningful employment was very challenging. I needed a place to work that was flexible, and would value my previous skills and knowledge.  At the Karma Collective, I started making candles, giving my mind and body time to heal whilst allowing my creative side to flourish. Over time, I’ve had the privilege of sharing that skill with our growing team, and have developed further skills to include other operational tasks. "

"At Karma, I have found that employment does not mean sacrificing my wellbeing. What a gift!"
  • Al, Horticulture

"I must have been excellent in another lifetime to now have a job at The Karma Collective. The quality products used in the candles represent how management respects humanity."

"I work in the gardens, mostly loitering behind hedges."
  • Adish, Graphic Design

"My class in uni had us focus on social enterprises, and required us to search for a real life case study. Because of my love for animals, I chose this as my topic and began my search, which led me to The Karma Collective. Through this, I met the lovely Angharad, and she just so happened to desperately need a graphic designer. I was able to help her within the comfort of my home, and exercise my artistic skills just as I desired. It was like by crazy chance, so effortless and coincidental. And the rest is history. I've been creating designs for Karma and falling in love with their mission for helping animals, people, and the earth."

"Trust in the divine. What is meant for you will find you."
  • Jessica, Production and Business Development

"I started working at The Karma Collective in April and in that short time I have had alot going on in my life. Angharad is one of the most understanding and kindest people I have ever met. I have been having a lot of medical trouble and she makes sure I'm good and makes sure I'm ok to work. The environment at The Karma Collective is the healthiest environment I have ever worked in. Angharad and Nicole are always checking in on me and making sure I'm ok and even help talk with me with my mental health."

    "I absolutely love working here!"
  • Zilan, Production Assistant

I arrived in Australia in 2019 after many years escaping violence and war since childhood. This is my first job, and I love it! Making candles is relaxing and it is like cooking, which I also enjoy.

The work is simple, there are friendly people and the candles smell good! I am very happy.
